We are looking for enthusiastic, honest, reliable and practical people with a strong work ethic and a sense of humour to join our team.

We specialise in creating boutique camping areas at weddings, parties and festivals – we are looking for people to help lift, set up, furnish and dismantle bell tents two to three times a week between months of June – September.

We have two roles available –

Team and Site leader role requires a driving license and confidence in driving a large van. Please do let us know if you have any previous festival, marquee or event experience for this role.

For the Site Worker role a driving license isn’t essential. We are really looking for positive, hard working people with practical initiative that want to work outdoors this summer.

This is seasonal and part time work, due to the nature of the job you must have very good availability and be prepared for some long days! The closer you live to Lulubells HQ (GL6 9JG) the better 🙂 I have listed all the required dates below, ideally we need each person to be able to commit to all dates, and it’s possible there will be additional work as it comes in.

ROLES:

Team and Site Leader – working together with the company owner to ensure each event runs smoothly. You will be expected to deal directly with customers, so it is vital that you are confident, you believe in Lulubells and are passionate about what we do to represent our ethos to others. The role will include the following;

– Prepping and loading/ unloading the van before and after each event.

– Communicating with venue owners and clients during each event.

– Working to a layout and floor plan provided to ensure set-up is executed properly.

– Attention to detail. Making sure each tent is perfect for our guests on arrival and consistent with one another.

– Assisting company owner, if owner is off site, overseeing the event, delegating jobs to the team, ensuring we are on track with the event and job.

– As well as delegating, we expect the site leader to be hands on, and lead by example. We are team and work together to create the best working environment.

– Pitching, furnishing and dismantling tents. Packing up the van. Unloading the van. Taking and picking up laundry from the dry cleaners.

– There will be different size teams depending on the size of the event. Company owner will be on hand to help run and support set ups for each event.

– Driving license – some events are over 2 hours from our HQ so some driving and travelling is involved. You will be paid for time in the van.

– Typical hours – van prep (1-3 hours in Stroud), Thursday and / or Friday set up (7-12 hours depending on the event) Sunday and / or Monday take down (5-12 hours depending on the event)

– This role is on a self employed basis. Lulubells are to be invoiced weekly / monthly for the hours worked.

– Physically capable of lifting and carrying tents and furnishings.

– A good sense of humour.

£15 per hour. 

Site Worker 

– Pitching, furnishing and dismantling tents.

– Working with company owner and site leader to help bring each event to life.

– Packing up the van.

– Physically capable of lifting and carrying tents and furnishings.

– Strong work ethic and good sense of humour

– Hours – Thursday and / or Friday set up. Sunday and / or Monday take down.

£9 per hour
