We simply had to share a few snaps from one of our favourite bell-tent weddings this summer. Sam and Jess are big-time outdoor enthusiasts, so much so they requested all guests camp at their Wiltshire venue to extend celebrations over the weekend.
Guests arrived dressed-to-impress and ready to party without having the hassle of pitching their tent. Glampers slept under-the-stars in pure comfort with luxury campbeds, cosy bedding, blankets, lanterns and of course some bunting!
Wick Bottom Barn is situated in a truly magical setting – remote, picturesque and wild. The barn itself is rustic and has the most amazing open fire, perfect for post-dancing-late night gatherings. Although, this venue isn’t for the faint hearted, it’s dry hire only, which means lots of planning and negotiating with multiple suppliers. Personally, I think this gives the flexibility to create the day, weekend that you desire, which for me, is priceless and definitely worth having to do some of the leg-work.
tHE BRIDAL BELL-TENT:
Naturally, the bride and groom wanted something a little more luxurious for their wedding night. So we were lucky enough to create a gorgeous bridal bell-tent for the couple to stay in.
Lulubells bridal bell-tent is slightly larger than the rest of our collection. It’s roomy enough to fit a double bed frame and comfy mattress, that’s right a REAL bed, all fitted with white cotton linen. As if the bed wasn’t enough, the bridal tent also includes lots of other trimmings to make it seriously dreamy!
AN OUTDOOR WEDDING:
We positioned each bell tent at edge of the lawn along the tree line. The weather was so sunny the couple decided to have their ceremony outside. A couple of our bells managed to sneak into the professional shots from the day. They look pretty good huh? To continue with the outdoor camping theme Jess arrived to the ceremony in her friends bright orange VW campervan – I mean how cool is that?!
We loved setting up this bell tent village. Weddings are the best fun and by the look of the guests the following morning, these guys sure know how to throw a party! Congratulations Jess and Sam.
P.S the image of poppies was taken in the fields that surround the venue – absolutely stunning!
